Step 1: Matcha Base (good for roughly 2 24 oz drinks)

  • 3 Tbsp. Royal Matcha Powder (adjust to taste)

  • 200ml Hot Water (Roughly 80°Celsius)

  • 3 oz Golden Cane Sugar (sweeten to desired level)

Combine Water & Matcha in a bowl and whisk thoroughly to remove all lumps. Sifting the matcha before and after whisking helps in creating a smoother base. Add the golden cane syrup at your desired sweetness level and stir thoroughly. This will act as your matcha base for a matcha latte.

Step 2: Matcha Latte aka Matcha Milk Tea (24 oz drink)

  • ½ Cup of Matcha Base

  • 1 Cups of Milk of Choice

  • Ice

In a 24 oz cup fill to about 75% with ice cubes (to the cup line). Pour in Milk to about 85% full. Top with the Matcha Base. To get clear layering of milk and matcha, pour the base onto the back of a spoon while pouring it into a cup to gently layer.

Storage Directions:

Store at room temperature and avoid exposure to air and excessive light.
